Kate joined David Barney & Co in 2016 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying in 2017.  Kate has a breadth of experience in Wills and Probate but also practices as a Child Care solicitor, her focus being on supporting and assisting families during difficult life events.

This is Kate’s second career having previously worked directly with children, young people and parents for  over twenty years. Kate has a first class honours degree in Law (LLB), a LLM and a postgraduate Diploma in Mediation. She is also a qualified Executive Coach.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young grandchildren and learning new crafts

Aneesa graduated in Pharmacology and worked as a Scientist for a number of years but decided to pursue a career in Law due to family circumstances. Aneesa has over 5 years experience in the Private Client Department dealing with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate. Aneesa was born and brought up in Stevenage. Although she now lives in sunny Scotland and so mostly works remotely, she is delighted she can help the community she grew up in. Aneesa’s priority is to ensure that your wishes are carried out and to support you through the processes.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, archery, kickboxing, painting and has recently become a cat mum!
