We will require you to provide all date of death valuations for any assets or liabilities.  Once the information provided has been considered you will be advised which fee bracket you will be charged as we have a better understanding of the estate.

We will then be in a position to complete the IHT forms in preparation for all the executors to sign.

The forms are then sent to the Probate Registry and once the Grant or Letters of Administration has been received and our final fee settled, we release the Grant of Probate to the executors to administer and distribute the estate in accordance with the Will or Rules of Intestacy.

This is charged at an hourly rate of £250 per hour +VAT plus disbursements.

Once the Grant has been received, we will write to the asset holders to request funds, which would be held in our client account and settle any liabilities. We will then distribute the estate as per the terms of the will and look to finalise our file.

Our fees will be payable from the estate in stages as set out in our client care letter.
